最基础的路由器首页（Splash）设计其实什么也没有，只有一个登录按钮。如果路由器登录互联网没有成功，比如PPPoE失败之类的原因吧，它就会调用默认的登录首页。我将其扩展之后，衍生为一种网络服务，让各地的路由器客户可以建立自己的路由器首页。 根据一些客户的反馈，首页设计有时候让用户有种茫然的感觉。因为他们并没有获得他们所需要的网页，而被导向到一个路由器首页。这本身就很让人困惑。如果该首页无法吸引他们阅读，则会引起反感和不快。如果登录按钮更加小，则就没有尝试的兴趣了。 基于这种心理学后果，路由器首页的设计需要夸张和足够的视觉冲击。比如，类似这种巨型启动按钮就能够有这种效果。
